Overview

At present, most of the bulk materials are transported by flat belt, flat belt is laid on the conveyor system, carrying the material for transportation. The conveying structure can cause problems like dust, or solvent-containing materials flowing, resulting in serious environmental pollution and material loss. Rubber pipe conveyor is the main supporting equipment of pipe belt conveyor, it is based on the above-mentioned conveying defects, to the whole process of conveying material conveyor belt to form a pipe, the whole process of material in the closed system transmission, to achieve small-radius space turn, large tilt angle layout and other technical characteristics, the project also fully adapt to the current environmental needs.

According to carcass difference, pipe belt can be divided into ply and ST pipe belts.

Structural characteristics

The structure of the pipe conveyor belt is different from ordinary conveyor belt, which is specially adjusted according to the requirements of the rigidity of the belt. The structure of ply pipe conveyor belt is generally composed of ply carcass, rubber covers and edge rubber, also need to have transition layer, some need to add lateral rigid layer, etc. . The structure of ST pipe conveyor belt is generally composed of steel cords, rubber covers, edge rubber, transition layer, transverse rigid layer and so on.

According to the size of the pipe diameter and the nature of the conveying material, the ply pipe conveyor belt usually has two structures: the common structure and the structure with a transition layer. The ST pipe belt does not have the carcass connection like the ply pipe belt, its transverse strength mainly comes from the rubber’s own strength, the support force is relatively insufficient. A transverse rigid layer is usually added between the covers to ensure the tubular property.

In order to prevent pipe collapse, torsion, flat pipe and so on, the belt should have a reasonable value of transverse rigidity, which is mainly given by the conveying system and supported by the belt structure.
